Garcia Explocat 52
Combining the robustness and safety of an aluminium hull with the large living quarters of a catamaran, the Explocat 52 is the ultimate multihull for blue water cruising enthusiasts. The Explocat 52 shares the same design principles as the monohulls of the Exploration range, in that both everyday sailing and long crossings are to be done with maximum safety, comfort and protection.
The midship platform is the heart of this boat, with a bright and spacious saloon that allows for easy switching between fore and aft helms, and a full size galley and chart table on the port side. The two hulls contain one master cabin and two guest cabins in the standard version – a four cabin version is also available. The boat has a 2 metre headroom throughout. One of the forward cabins can be converted into a skippers cabin.
The Standard version includes:

• Pendular steering pedestal, offering 2 outside steering positions : one in high position for harbor manoeuvers and navigation with nice weather conditions, another one in low position in the cockpit – protected – for navigation with rough weather conditions

• All essential lines controlled from the aft cockpit for navigating safely
• Shorthanded sail handling area in aft cockpit
