Category: Sail boats

Kerma SK95 S1 was built in 1918 at the renowned Stockholm Motorboat Yard, constructed by the master of lines, Erik Salander.

Kerma is one of the fastest skerry cruisers in the world which she has proven numerous times, being a two-time winner of the Big Boat Race and winning the ÅFOR Offshore Race Classic three times in the last ten years, along with numerous wins at local Swedish regattas. She is built from pine with a doghouse and interior in mahogany, and a deck in Oregon pine. Major work that she has undergone includes a new bottom, keel, keelplank and stems in 1975. The Doghouse was restored in 2008 with new Oregon pine ceiling, and the deck was renovated with new calking in 2016. A new Vetus diesel engine was installed in August 2018 (28hp), and Kerma has been continually kept up to date over the years in terms of hull, sails and deck equipment.

A carbon fibre mast and rig made by Goetz Marine Technology, USA, can be acquired separately. Kerma's navigation instruments include a B&G plotter and True Heading AIS-system. She also comes with a large sail inventory and is ready to race or cruise, and of course win regattas!
